INGENIUM AWARDED CONTRACT TO BUILD INTRANET FOR WALTER REED HEALTH CARE SYSTEM

UPPER MARLBORO, MD -- Ingenium Corporation today announced that It has been awarded a contract to build and deploy a corporate Intranet for the Walter Reed Health Care System. The Intranet will provide a cost effective way to communicate with Army medical staff worldwide and at their convenience since it will be a web-based application. Walter Reed is the Army's largest health care delivery system providing over 1.5 million outpatient visits to beneficiaries from the Washington, D.C. area and from around the world.

The Intranet will provide Walter Reed staff with secure, real-time integrated access to internal documents, workflow transactions, and training resources from anywhere in the world. The protocols used to implement the Intranet will be used to facilitate the adoption of standards throughout Walter Reed for future phases of the Intranet's development.
