GOVERNOR GLENDENING APPOINTS INGENIUM CORPORATION PRESIDENT TO MARYLAND’S TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION

Upper Marlboro, MD – Ingenium Corporation has announced that Maryland Governor Parris N. Glendening recently named André L. Lynch, President and CEO of Ingenium, to the Board of Directors of the Maryland Technology Development Corporation (TEDCO). Mr. Lynch’s term will expire in 2004. The Maryland General Assembly established TEDCO in 1998 as a tool to maintain and enhance the State’s reputation as a leader in technology.

In announcing the appointment of Mr. Lynch as well as four other new board members, Governor Glendening said, “these individuals are leaders in the State’s technology and business community. They will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to TEDCO, allowing Maryland to capitalize on and maintain its presence at the forefront of the rapidly expanding technology marketplace.”

“It is an honor to be appointed to the board of TEDCO,” Mr. Lynch said. “I am pleased to have the opportunity to assist TEDCO in furthering its mission to foster the development of a technology economy that will create and sustain businesses throughout the region.”

Mr. Lynch, who founded Ingenium in 1992, has more than 18 years of information technology experience. Prior to forming Ingenium, Mr. Lynch directed business development activities for Network Solutions, Inc. Under his marketing leadership, Network Solutions grew over a three-year period from approximately $24 million to just under $50 million in revenues and to more than $200 million in contract backlog. Mr. Lynch also served as director of one of Network Solutions’ largest divisions, with operations in three states. Mr. Lynch earned his bachelor’s degree from the School of Public and International Affairs at American University in Washington, D.C.
