INGENIUM CORPORATION AWARDED CONTRACT BY PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, MARYLAND, HOUSING AUTHORITY

Upper Marlboro, MD — Ingenium Corporation, one of the fastest growing e-business companies in the country, today announced it has been awarded a contract with the Housing Authority of Prince George’s County, MD, to provide information systems services. Ingenium will:

  • develop a comprehensive Information Technology (IT) strategic plan
  • perform an entity-wide risk assessment
  • develop a security plan, policies and procedures
  • develop contingency and disaster recovery strategies
  • assess the Authority’s Y2K response
  • target key Authority business processes for migration to the web.

The Housing Authority of Prince George’s County is responsible for preserving, improving and expanding decent and affordable housing. The Authority manages the County’s federally funded Community Development Block Grant, which funds housing rehabilitation and local public improvement activities such as street, park and storm drainage construction. Its Public Housing and Section 8 Rental Assistance programs enable the Authority to subsidize the rents of more than 4,000 households per month.
