INGENIUM CORPORATION AWARDED CONTRACT TO CONTINUE IT SUPPORT FOR PG HOUSING AUTHORITY
Upper Marlboro, MD-Ingenium Corporation today announced that it has been awarded a two-year contract to continue providing information technology operational support services to the Housing Authority of Prince George's County (HAPGC), Maryland. Under the contract, set to expire July 31, 2004, Ingenium will provide support in the areas of Application System Function and Maintenance, Customer Service, Network and Systems Engineering and Training.
"For the past two years, Ingenium has supported HAPGC on a number of key IT initiatives," said Bill McDonald, Director of Business Development. "We are proud that our commitment to excellence has resulted in HAPGC entrusting us with additional tasking for two more years."
Ingenium has been HAPGC's technology partner since 2000, when the company was selected to develop an IT strategic plan to guide the authority's technology decisions. Simultaneously, Ingenium provided a comprehensive IT risk assessment, security policies and procedures as well as a disaster recovery plan for HAPGC. Subsequently, Ingenium helped HAPGC identify, select, and implement a new core information system, and refreshed the agency's entire network and desktop infrastructure to prepare for implementation.
A Case Study of the work done under the initial contract was featured in the July 2002 issue of State Tech magazine, published by Ziff-Davis Media.
