INGENIUM CORPORATION APPROVED FOR THE PRESTIGIOUS CMMI- DEVELOPMENT VERSION 1.2 CERTIFICATION (CONTINUOUS)

DAYTON, OHIO (June 25, 2010) – The Carnegie Mellon University Software Engineering Institute (SEI) has accepted Ingenium’s ASBU SCAMPI A Appraisal findings and approved it for CMMI Capability Level 3 in four process areas. The SCAMPI Method (Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement) is a process developed by Carnegie Mellon University's SEI to offer quality benchmarking with regards to CMMI® models.

The objective of the Appraisal was to assess a specific set of processes and their effectiveness, when implemented within the organization. This internationally recognized assessment means that Ingenium Corporation has established effective, well-defined processes and procedures in project management and software development that meet CMMI Level 2 standards.

"This is a significant accomplishment for Ingenium and a reflection of our ability to relentlessly optimize our processes. This rating is a true recognition of our level of commitment and demonstrates our ability to have reliable and repeatable processes that reduce costs, lower risk and improve quality,” said Pradheeshan Coomaraswamy, Vice President and CTO of Ingenium. Combined with their ISO9001:2008 certification, this CMMI rating effectively positions Ingenium Corporation to provide best of breed services to their DoD and Military Healthcare customers.
